1. How to get zoom onto your device 

• Please download and install the Zoom application to your device before your lesson by following this link: https://zoom.us/support/download 

• You can use a Mac, PC, tablet or any iOS/Android device. You do not need your own account, just install the application onto your device.

• If you have a problem installing the Zoom application please contact our technical team on info@advantagelearn.com prior to the lesson so that they can assist you.

2. Internet connection

• We recommend that you have a stable and fast internet connection via wifi or ethernet. The audio and video stream will be data-heavy so you want to avoid using your mobile data if possible.
  
  

3. Allocate time

• Please make yourself available for the full duration of your lesson so that you can get the most out of it.  If you are unable to give your full attention to the lesson, the recording will be made available to you via whatsapp and then on your online course.  All of these recordings you will have access to until you leave the programme.

4. How to join your live lesson

• You will receive a zoom link a day before your live lesson via the whatsapp group and via email. 

• On the day of your live lesson, 5-10 minutes before your live lesson starts you can click on the link and it will take you to zoom where you can enter your name and email address. 

• It will then show you a message to say that the zoom host will let you in shortly

How do I find my course on my dashboard?

1. Logging into your account

Learners have access to their online course by logging in with the learner’s email address that was provided on the application. (and parent) The password for your profile would have been sent to your email address, if you are new to Advantage Learn this year.  If you have reregistered and therefore logged into our platform previously, please use the same password.

2. Forgotten your Password

If you have forgotten your password, click the “Don’t remember your password?” link to reset it. You can change your password at any time.

3. Steps on how to navigate to your online course

1. Go to www.campus.advantagelearn.com and log in.
   
   
   

2. You have now arrived at your Dashboard. Click “My courses” under the menu on the left sidebar. This will bring up the course(s) that you are currently enrolled into.
   
   

How do I scan and send back my assessment?

Once you have completed your assessment, you will need to scan and email it back to your educator.

1. You must download the scanning app prior to your assessment.  It must be downloaded onto your phone or device.  You can use Tapscanner or Cam Scanner (You can search for the Tap Scanner or Cam Scanner in the App Gallery on your phone)

2. This video explains once you have completed your assessment, how to scan your assessment correctly using Tap Scanner.

3. Email your answer script as 1 Document.  Save the file name as follows:  Initial of first name, surname and grade. eg. JWestGr10
