Changes to your NBT test date
Registration for the NBTs is specific to the date and location you select.
You are able to make changes to your test booking until the closing date which is posted on the test schedule.
Once bookings close for that test date, you cannot make any changes.
If you miss the test for which you are registered or cannot write the test for personal reasons, you must register again and pay again in order to write the NBTs.
If a test session is cancelled by the NBT Project and rescheduled for any reason (e.g. a change to the COVID National Risk Levels), and you are currently registered and have paid, you do not have to pay to write a rescheduled test.
If you become sick or injured before the test, you can send an e-mail to
nbt@uct.ac.za or call 021-650-3523.
Once you have the relevant documentation such as a hospital or police report, you will be allowed a make-up test with no additional fees charged.
